Please note that thanks to Ruth L. (Creative Graphic Artists), we have a very "cleaned up" tube. The tube offered here has the grass and those icky bees erased and some new bees added. Do a shift D and close the original tube. 1. Open a new image 700 x 700 yes, I know it's big, but you can crop it later. 2. Open the provided tube, copy and paste as a new layer on your new image. Decide how many of the bees you want to keep (I've left it layered for you), or leave as is. Merge visible. Set it down towards the bottom of the graphic towards the right (as you look at the blank image).         ***Tip: I erased the flowers to the right of the kitty, as I usually always add a bevel at the end for definition, and I didn't like the look of the flowers beveled. ***Tip: Leave the kitties on individual layers so you can adjust the size to how you want the look. 3. Go back to the duplicated tube, and go to colors, grey scale. Copy and paste this onto the new image with the colored tube. Place it under the colored tube. Resize 90%. Lower the opacity to 50% on the grey scaled tube. 4. Duplicate this grey tube, move under the first greyed tube, resize 85%. Move it slightly to the left. Lower the opacity on this one to about 43%. The idea is to make it look like the cat running. Here's what I have so far with these instructions. 5. Now keep doing the same thing until you have a nice trail behind the kitty. You are trying to accent the front colored running kitty getting chased by bees. lol BEFORE I merged visible, I looked it over and decided that I wanted my front kitty bigger, so I made him 150%. I also gave him a bevel and a drop shadow. Make sure you don't merge until you've got it looking just right. 6. Don't forget to tube your kitty, and most of all don't forget to sign your work! Hope you had fun with this little fast tutorial. Email me with questions.
