This tutorial is my own creation, any similarities to any other tutorial is strictly unintentional. Texas Patches Art Studio. Things I used for this tutorial. PSP 7 Graphic of your choice.... or use mine provided. Please note that I have picked these graphics up in one group or another, but the artists name is still within the graphic name. In my humble opinion, these are awesome artists and I would love to pass a URL on to you, but I just don't have one. Leave their signatures within the graphic. Ulead..............Super Blade Pro........Masks of your choice....or use these two provided. SBP preset Save often, and sign your finished work. 1. Duplicate your image and close the original. Promote to a layer. 2. Add a layer, flood fill with color of your choice. I used #FDC78D on the ballerina graphic. Masks, load from disk. Load the provided mask or one of your choice. Delete the mask, and apply the following bevel. 3. I also added a slight drop shadow of Horizontal and Vertical 0, opacity 80%, blur of 11.5 Merge all flatten and add a border of 4. Select with magic wand and use the #5 setting on Ulead's Art Texture. Use the above inner bevel setting. 4. Add a black border of 40. Select with magic wand. Add a raster layer and flood fill with white. Load your mask selection. Then delete mask and merge into layer. ( on the Oriental picture above I used the SBP Brocade preset ). On the Ballerina picture I used the color #FDC78D and then used the same settings for the inner bevel. On both pictures I duplicated the masked border 5 times to really make it stand out. 5. Add a white border of 5 pixels, select with magic wand. Use #5 of Uleads Art Texture. Add a black border of 5 pixels. Add a white border of 5 pixels, select with magic wand, use #5 of Uleads Art Texture. Leave selected and apply the above bevel. That's it, isn't that the prettiest laciest thing? On the Oriental picture I experimented with using 2 different masks. Please experiment and have fun. Hope you enjoyed this lacy frame tutorial. Hope to see you at my next tutorial.
