If you do, please let me know so that I may give proper credit. Variations Filter (no longer available) or Eye Candy 4 Filters Unlimited (optional) On the top example, I used Edge and Frame Galaxy, this filter is not needed for this tutorial, it's a for your information only. 1. Control D and copy your graphic, close original. I always make two copies in case I want to use it later for the frame; minimize it.   2. Take your loop, smart edge, and cut out what you want out of your photo. It will become the "tube". When finished, copy and paste as a new image and set aside. Select none. 3, Promote to layer, this is important or it will expand with the color that's in your background, then resize Canvas so that you have at least 100 more pixels on each side. I know this is big, but you'll need it. If you're using the above provided graphic, I made my canvas 700 x 700. 4. For a transparent look, leave the background on null. I did do one, with the background to this color #F8DC68 and it looked interesting also. Go to Variations, Flutter with these settings. 150, 70, 0, 0, 150, 70, 0, 0 5. Then, if you have Filters Unlimited 2.0 go to Distortion, Warp Jump, default at 58. Then go to Effects, twirl set at 720. Then do the Flutter filter again. Doesn't that look cool? You don't even have to do any more to it, but add your text if you want to leave it this way. 6. Ok, take your "tube" you made earlier and do a copy and paste onto this flutter you made. Now, you can do two things here, depends on how wild and crazy you feel. Do an Enhance Photo of 5, then do a drop shadow of H & V 2, 100 opacity, 23.5 Blur. Here's what that looks like. Now, if you're feeling experimental, after you add the tube go back to Filters Unlimited and do the Warp Jump again. Here's what that looks like. Reminds me of a flower arrangement I have in my home. 6. Now, let's start experimenting with text. I used the "Fatso" font, vectored, black front and #F8DC68 and then stretched it until I liked the look. 7. I duplicated this text layer, arrange, bring to top. Then I went to layer, opacity and set it to multiply and thought it looked pretty cool so I left it that way. My original thought was to lower the opacity and erase some of the text to see the flowers, but I didn't like that look with this particular "tube" as it was way too busy. 8. I liked the original Flutter look so I just added some text to it. Here's one example. I added the text, Duplicated it. Then I Fluttered the bottom text. The duplicated layer I reduced 90% twice. Used a drop shadow of H & V 2, opacity 100%, blur 12.3, #F8DC68 I used this as the fill for the text. 9. I also liked this look. I duplicated the twirled and fluttered graphic, flipped it. Duplicated it again and rotated to the right 45 degrees. On each layer I used a different color for the drop shadow. V & H 2, 100%, blur 7.4. Then I added my text as above. I added a texture, sandstone. Duplicated the text, reduced by 90% 2 times. Duplicated the text, reduced by 90% 2 more times, or whatever gives a good perspective. The biggest idea of this tutorial is for you to experiment with different looks that can be achieved with the Variations Flutter plugin. I hope you've enjoyed yourself and it's stimulated some creativity. If you have any questions, please email me. Please stop by and pick up a Thank You card for doing my tutorial. If you do not have the Variations plugin filter, you can use Eye Candy 4, Jiggle with these settings. 1. First Jiggle Setting:Brownian 76.90 20.77 34 433 2. Second Jiggle Setting: Brownian 5.15 20.77 34 433 3. I think it makes a very nice look also. xxxx
