Things you will need for this tutorial. PSP7 Pinup Tube from Dozi's site, thanks Dozi Xenofex Demo VM   Filter's Unlimited 2.0 Demo Please save often, sign your work. And please stop by and pick up a Thank You card from me to you. Once you get started on this, make a couple tags with these suggestions, then start going through your plugins and try them out, bet you'll find some things you didn't even know you could do. I saved all the ones I made as tubes and also merged flatten and put them into my stationery tags folder that I made up. If you have questions, please email me. 1. Open your tube. Change the canvas size to 900 x 900. Duplicate your tube layer. Enlarge this duplicated layer by 120-130%, send this layer to the bottom. This instruction applies to all of these tags, not just this first one.   *Before merging your layers together when you are done, add a drop shadow on the top tube to allow it to stand out from the background art. This applies to all of these instructions. 2. Ok, now we play...........with the enlarged tube. Xenofex Shower Door with these settings. Then duplicate this layer, mirror. Lock the top tube layer, and merge the other two visible. What I did then was reduce this layer (remember we made it really big) about 90% or what looks good to you. New layer, pick two colors out of the original tube, and add your name, or whatever you want to say. I used #9BB2D1 and #EFAF70 and the Murphy Script font. I also did a copy and paste as new image so that I could use the same letterings on all the others I made. I made the sparkly look on this tube by adding noise until I liked the look. About 20% uniform. Once again enlarge the bottom tube 120-130%. VM Toolbox, Radial Mosaic with these settings. Duplicate this layer, mirror. Merge these two layers, then add a drop shadow on the top tube. I left one like this, but I also did this, as seen above. I duplicated the merged mosaic layer, made it about 120-130% bigger, then went to effects, geometric, twirl.....set at 720. Merge all layers. Add a layer and put your name or wording you want, or copy and paste the one you used before. Working on your bottom tube, this time it doesn't need to be enlarged more than it already is. Go to Xenofex, electrify with these settings. Add a drop shadow to your top tube, add your text, or copy and paste your name you made before. Merge layers. I added a dark blue drop shadow to this tag so it would give it an "electrified" look. I tried to save the tube (before the drop shadow) a gif, but I didn't like the look. On the bottom tube, enlarge it 110%. Go to Filter's Unlimited and use Distortion Filters, Cracked 90 intensity. Add a drop shadow to your top tube, add your text, or copy and paste your saved text. Merge Visible. I tried saving this as a gif, but didn't like the look. Add a drop shadow, something you like. I usually use H & V 1, opacity 100%, blur 3.7. On the bottom tube, go to VM Tool Box, Dynamic Diffusion Horizontal and Vertical diffusion both set at 153. Go to the top tube and reduce it by 90%. Add a drop shadow, to your liking. Add your text or copy and paste as new layer your saved text. Merge visible and save. At the top is another example, and you can see that I took the loop/rope set to freehand and just followed the contour around, then inverted and hit delete...that will get rid of some of the spots. This one is really easy. Just do an effects, geometric twirl on the bottom tube, mine is set at 720. Give your top tube your favorite drop shadow setting. Add your text on a separate layer, or paste as new layer your saved text. Merge visible and save. I thought this one looked good as it makes her look like she's sitting on it. [Hit Counter]
